Ahly players interested in England move

Ahmed Fathy thinks playing in England will help improve his performances for Egypt Egyptian defender Ahmed Fathy has said he will be delighted to join English side Hull City, after the Championship club made an offer for his services. The al-Ahly defender, who spent six month on loan at English club Sheffield United in 2007, feels he deserves another opportunity to play abroad.
Hull City, managed by Steve Bruce, are owned by Egyptian businessman Assem Allam, and he wants to sign Fathy after right-back Ahmed el-Mohamedy's loan spell was cut short by Premier League outfit Sunderland.
The Tigers have enquired about taking Fathy on a six-month loan deal until the end of the current English season. The right-back has told Ahly that a move to England will help him develop as a player and allow him to help the Egyptian national team, considering the domestic league is suspended.
Meanwhile, Fathy’s colleague Mohamed Nagy has also welcomed rumours of a move to Hull City, even though he admits that no one has approached him. Nagy, known as Gedo, said he would like to play in England amid all the uncertaintly surrounding the Egyptian Premier League. He added that he just wants to play football, whether that's in Egypt or England.
