Yemeni army killed, Wednesday, a Houthi field leader and other militants, in the province of Nahm, east of the capital Sana'a. The media center of Popular Resistance in Sana'a said on Wednesday that the leader of Houthis, Hassan Sharif, was killed by artillery shelling of the national army, during his visit to the site of Harashva, in Wadi Dabou'a.

In the same context, many of Houthis leaders were killed in the fighting with the national army in Sa'dah, the main stronghold of Houthi militia. Sa'dah media center stressed that Houthi's leader, Abdullah Ali Abuhadi, and eight others were killed in the province's battles.

Meanwhile, Houthis snipers killed a woman and her relative, Wednesday, in the Kalaba neighborhood, while two children were injured by shelling of residential areas in the city of Taiz. Local sources said that Shifaqa Mohammed Abdullah Numan al-Shawaifi, 35, was shot by a sniper in the Al-Safa neighborhood in Kalaba district. The sources added that her relative, Yossef Abdullah, was a member of the popular resistance, was also killed during his attempt to rescue his sister.

Arab coalition aircraft continued its violent raids on several of Saleh and Houthi militia's positions on the west coast of the country and west of Taiz, while fighting on several field fronts intensified. On Wednesday, coalition jets bombarded military compounds and vehicles of militias in the areas of al-Buqariya, al-Aqma, Wadi Hanah and Wadi Mabtaa in Al-Wazea'a Directorate. According to a security source, the raids that targeted Al-Wazea'a left dozens of dead and wounded, in addition to the destruction of five military crews and a large quantity of weapons and ammunition.

Coalition aircraft also targeted Houthis sites and gatherings in al-Qala historic mountain in Mowaz'a, in the center of the directorate. According to the security source, the raids led to the deaths and injuries of the militias as well as material loss.

Government artillery shelled several communities and militia-based positions inside the camp and the Mukha junction, while making field progress in some parts of the camp. According to field sources, the government forces fought fierce battles against the militias in the vicinity of Khalid camp, but they was able to take full control of the location of the rocket battalion, belonging to the camp. According to the sources, dozens of militia's militants were killed, wounded and captured during battles east of Mukha.

On the battlefield, government forces achieved qualitative victories in several locations east and south-west of Mowaz'a. In addition, they forced militias to withdraw and flee. At least 12 of Houthis militants were killed and dozens injured in the fighting.

According to military sources, the government forces, backed by coalition jets are preparing to liberate Mowaz'a directorate, after the control of the land access to the city.
