Yemeni government forces continued their advance on Saturday towards “Khalid Ibn Al-Walid” camp, in Taiz, south-west of Yemen. The media center of Taiz military operation office posted on their official account on Facebook that, the forces supported with Arab Coalition fighter jets advanced towards the camp, amid violent clashes with “Saleh&Housthis” militias, adding that the forces managed to reach Al Ashera village, north of the camp. The center also said that National Army forces managed to reach the camp and surround it from west and south, causing severe damages between Housthis elemnets. The National Army and the resistance carried out a successful operation, where they managed to cut Hodeidah Taiz line across Hamli Bridge.   Deputy Spokesman of Taiz, Colonel Abdel Basset El Bahr said that the forces conducted a successful military operation, cut Hodeidah Taiz line, and controlled the surrounding areas of Colonel Kaid Effendi’s house, adding that the forces are now in complete control of the camp. A security source said that the Arab Coalition airplanes launched since yesterday airstrikes, targeting Khaled Ibn Al-Walid camp, destroying five militias’ equipment in Al-Mukha, near the east gate of the camp. The source also revealed the death of 38 gunmen from “Saleh&Houthis” militias, most of them are former Republican Guard troops.   Two elements of the militias were killed in an attack of the resistance on their locations on Sharkaan Hill in directorate of Zaher in the province of Albaidah. The militias responded to this attack by bombing citizens’ houses with different weapons and tanks, according to a source. On Saturday dawn, the resistance soldiers managed to stop a Houthis attack on several places, which made the militias respond by shelling citizens’ houses in Yafaan area, including the village school. There were other clashes between the government forces and the militias in Assilan Directorate in Shabwa Governorate.   Field sources said that the government forces stopped a militias’ attempt to breach El Sakia location, near Haid bin Aqeel, adding that there were violent clashes lasted several hours between the parties, which resulted in killing 3 and injuring 2 others from the government forces, while 2 militias were killed and one was wounded. During the artillery shelling between them, two mortar shells dropped on a civilian house in Umm Asim village, north of Asilan district, causing a lot of damages, but with zero causality.    The well-known leader in “Sales&Houthis” militias, Abu Naif, who was in charge of the militias in Bihan, Assilan and Al Ain in Shabwa was injured badly in the clashes with the government forces and died.   In Aden, the Yemeni government asked UN Security Council to implement resolution no.2216 to insert “Saleh$Houthis” gunmen in the terrorist lists, while Deputy Minister for Human Rights, Mohammed Askar ,said during the future of the peace in Yemen in Paris that, the coup lead to unprecedented deterioration of the humanitarian situation, and there are 37888 citizens were killed or injured during the militias’ war, including 10811 dead, 649 women, 1002 child, and 9160 men, while there are 27077 wounded, 3875 women, 3334 child and 19868 men, adding that most of the victims were hit in 2015, while the number reached 296 persons in the first month of 2017.   Askar said that mines killed and wounded more than 673 including women and children, adding that Houthis kidnapped 16804 activists, media presenters, journalists and academics, and who were released suffered from bad psychological and healthy conditions, and that the Houthis also recruited more than 2 thousands child and women to serve their war.
