Iraqi forces managed to kill dozens of extremist elements loyal to ISIS on Friday, as they prevented their attack against a village, close to Nineveh. They also found a camp to train the extremists in Anbar’s Haditha district.

According to a statement issued by Iraq’s Ministry of Defense, The Iraqi soldiers managed to liberate a large swath of Takleef District, Nineveh’s second largest district, as they started their operations there on Thursday. It added that the Iraqi flag has been raised over its buildings.

It added that the Iraqi forces managed to restore the district just hours after the beginning of the military operations there, stressing that over 45 villages and a number of districts inside Mousl have been liberated.

On its hand, the leadership of “We are Coming Nineveh” operations announced Friday that Mousl’s free zone has been liberated and the Iraqi flag has been raised over its buildings.

Meanwhile, International coalition raids destructed 21 motorboats possessed by the extremist group in the Iraqi city of Mousl.

Leader of Nineveh operations Najm Al Jaboory, said in a statement on Friday, that the international coalition managed to destroy 21 motorboats carrying a number of the group’s elements in Mousl’s Al Rashidiya district.

He added that the Iraqi forces succeeded to liberate Al Araby district, North of Mousl, saying that the army currently resumes its advance to the northern area of the Iraqi city.

On the other hand, Danish Minister of Defense Claus Hjort Frederiksen held a secret meeting with the leaders of political parties represented in the Danish parliament to discuss the recent developments on both Iraqi and Syrian arenas.

According to Danish Newspaper “politiken”, Denmark’s government takes it seriously to send a military power to control the borders between Syrian and Iraq during the coming period and to prevent any supplies provided to the extremist group.

The decision is scheduled to be referred to the Danish parliament in the near future to be passed.

The borders dilemma is also discussed by local forces, including Popular Mobilization Forces, as Spokesperson Ahmed Al Asady said that his forces currently control the borders and prevent any attempts to provide support to the extremist group.
