Activists have warned of many more anti-Saleh protests in Yemen
Sanaa - Agencies

Activists have warned of many more anti-Saleh protests in Yemen Massive crowds took into streets on Saturday across all Yemeni governorates, demanding the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities towards its resolutions and force the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to sign the GCC deal.
The UN Security Council will on Monday discuss the Yemen situations and the the refusal of Saleh to hand over power with increasing violence.
Yemeni protesters in Sana'a said the UN Security Council must follow up its resolutions and end violence in Yemen.
UN envoy to Yemen, Jamal Benomar, is to brief the Security Council on Monday on his latest talks with Saleh in Yemen.
Earlier on Wednesday, hundreds of thousands of Yemenis took took to the streets demanding the Arab League to suspend Yemen's membership to pressure the embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh into stepping down.
Meanwhile, a Yemeni police officer was gunned down Saturday by unknown assailants in the country's southeastern Hadramawt province, a police official said.
Speaking to AFP on condition of anonymity, the official said "unknown gunmen riding on a motorcycle opened fire on Said Lardi, killing him and wounding another policeman" in the provincial capital Mukallah.
He said the gunmen escaped after the shooting. Medical officials said the officer initially survived the attack but died later in hospital from severe injuries.
Security forces and government officials are regularly targeted in Yemen's restive southern and eastern provinces as Al-Qaeda linked militants and a long-standing separatist movement have been emboldened by months of anti-government protests that have crippled the central government.
