They are used in old-fashioned submarines, but their danger extends to fishermen and islanders near Midi, as well as threating the international navigation in Bab al-Mandab.
Sources said that the naval operation in Midi frontier, north-west of the province of Hajjah, aims to comb the coasts of Midi South-West and its islands. He explained that these mines are the type of interceptor mines used by Iranians by the old submarines working to help the militias.
