Syrian governmental troops bombarded a number of areas in Aleppo’s southern countryside, including Kholsa village and districts of Eis town using artillery shells. The attacks led to material damages with no information about humanitarian losses. As the air forces launched raids against a number of areas in the districts of Aleppo’s western countryside. The raids coincided with the fall of shells on the areas controlled by the governmental troops in the western side of Aleppo with no information about humanitarian losses.

Sound of explosions have been heard in Job Al Jerah district controlled by the governmental troops at Homos’ eastern countryside, as the clashed continue between the governmental troops and ISIS extremist group in the surrounding areas of oil fields existed in Palmyra’s desert. The governmental troops also bombarded areas in Tamanaa town of Idlib’s southern countryside, with no information about humanitarian losses. The attacks coincided with the protests organized by residents of Mastoma city in which they demanded Tahrir Al Sham movement to leave the area. According to sources the demonstrators raised the flags of Ahrar Al Sham Islamist movement.

Government forces have targeted areas in the villages of Kherbah and Serg in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and there were no reports of injuries. The government forces shelled areas in the towns of Khan el-asal and Bshqatin in the west countryside of Aleppo, resulting in material damages.

Several mortar shells were fired at areas in the suburb of al-Assad, near the city of Harasta in Ghouta, with no information about injuries, as warplanes carried out two raids on the areas in Sakba Farms East Balgoth, resulting in material damage

A number of battles occurred between government forces and loyal militants on one hand, and Islamic factions on the other hand, at the center of Jobar neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital, amid news of casualties among the two parties, while several mortar shells were fired at areas in the vicinity of Adwa neighborhood around the Russians tower in the Kassaa neighborhood in the capital, which led to several wounded.

The Syrian army has advanced to the outskirts of an Islamic State-held village in northern Syria, where a key water pumping facility for Aleppo city is located, a monitor said on Tuesday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitoring group, said the army and allied forces made gains east of Aleppo, as Syrian government and Russian warplanes pounded the areas.

The army and its allies moved closer to the al-Khafsa area where the water supplies are located, and to the al-Jarrah military airport, the Observatory said

A Syrian military source said the army had advanced to areas “very close” to both.

Islamic State has lost ground in recent months to three separate campaigns in northern Syria – by the Russian-backed Syrian army, by U.S-backed Syrian militias, and by Turkey and allied Syrian rebels.
