Four of the wounded in Alexandria'a train collision were taken to Alexandria University Hospital. Hospital director Tareq Khalifa said the four persons are in a critical condition. An Alexandria-bound train coming from Cairo crashed into another one while being on its way from Port Said to Alexandria, leaving dozens of the passengers dead and injured. Senior leaders at Alexandria Security Directorate visited the scene of the train collision, where ambulances were rushed to provide care for the injured and take them to hospitals. Twenty five ambulances rushed to the scene in Khorshid area, said Ahmed el-Ansary, the head of the ambulance authority, in a press release. The dead and the injured were moved to near hospitals, said the official. Health Minister Ahmed Emad Eddin has assigned the the ministry's undersecretary in Alexandria Sherif Wadea to follow up the conditions of the injured, he added.
