US Airways transatlantic flight diverted

A US Airways transatlantic flight was diverted on its way to Charlotte, North Carolina, US media reported here Tuesday. The media reported that the plane, a Boeing 767, which took off from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, has been diverted to Bangor, Maine, for unspecified "security issue." No further details were given at this point and it is not known yet how many people are on board. According to the media, the flight has landed safely in Maine.
