Sanya diving training base to be completed in 2013

The reconstruction project of National diving training base is under way and is expected to be completed by 2013in Sanya, the southernmost city of South China's Hainan Province. The National diving training base in Sanya was built and put into use in 1992, a training and recovery base for the national diving team and many famous divers like Gao Min, Fu Mingxia and Guo Jingjing had received training here. After reconstruction, divers and swimmers can receive training in a new training base where new diving pool, gym and flat for divers and other supporting facilities will be put in place.
