The State of Qatar and the Republic of El Salvador on Sunday initialed air transport agreement and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in this area. The agreement and the MoU were signed for Qatar by Saleh Abdullah Haroon, Director of Air Transport and Airports Affairs Department at the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and for El Salvador by its Ambassador to Qatar Victor M. Lagos. According to a press release issued by the Authority of Civil Aviation , the two parties agreed on the eligibility of the carriers operating in any specific number of flights for passengers and cargo between the two countries, as well as allowing them to exercise the fifth freedom at all intermediate points and beyond that.
