Muscat - Arab Today

In a bid to innovate in its tourism offering, Paradores Spain presented a comprehensive study for development and transformation of Omani forts and castles into hotels. The display which was presented by experts from the company and led by Zaballa Gómez, director-general of Paradores, revealed results of the study conducted by the company and forts and castles which are suitable for tourism investment to achieve desired economic and cultural objectives. The study also identified some forts and castles which do not need tourism development because of the fact that they already constitute unique historic landmarks and tourism hotspots.  Source: Travel Daily
