Chinese capital Beijing hosted 451 thousand tourists in November, a 9.3 per cent increase from last year according to Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics. Statistics estimated foreign tourists in November at 392,000, 10.6 per cent more than same time last year, while 59,000 people from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan visited the city, which is 0.9 per cent more than last year. Between January and November 2011, Beijing municipality 4.84 million tourists, a 5.8% increase from the same period in 2010. Tourists visiting Beijing increased in November by 0.3 per cent from the preceding ten months. U.S., Japan, South Korea tourists were estimated at 156 thousands, which weighs 34.5 per cent of foreign tourists visiting Beijing.
