Dubai - Arab Today

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai recently sanctioned the Jumeirah Corniche Development Project. The project will be constructed along the beach adjoining six residential districts, from the area behind Dubai Marine Beach Resort down to Burj Al Arab Hotel. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid directed to link both the walkway and jogging track with the Dubai Canal Project, and for the Corniche project to be completed in one year’s time. His Highness said: “Our developmental projects are integrating to attain this ultimate goal. We are committed to invest in building healthy human capital through providing ideal enabling environment.” The project once completed will facilitate variety of sports including jogging, walking, swimming, rowing and other activities catering to families. A five-meter wide walkway will be constructed including a four-meter wide jogging track. Source: Travel Daily
