Saint Petersburg - Arabstoday
Emirates has launched its first flight to Bolkov airport in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg. The K137 landed with a delegation representing Emirates — along with other officials representing UAE government departments and tourism companies in Dubai. Terry Antouri, vice-president of Global Sales at Emirates, said that the airline will not face any problems regarding future financing of aircraft despite the economic challenges. In a press statement at Bolkov airport in conjunction with the celebrations, Antouri said that Emirates treads a policy of diverse financing, which includes traditional trade financing, Islamic financing, stocks, and export credit programmes.
