EgyptAir Express would double its flights to the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh ahead of Egypt economic summit which is set to take place in mid-March.
Chairman of the regional airline Helmi Rezq made the remarks Tuesday adding, the scheduled flights would rise up to 70 from 35 flights.
The new schedule would be effective on March 13-15, he said, noting, the airline is ready to operate more flights as needed.
Rezq expected a hike in tourist arrivals during summer thanks to political stability.
