Port Said - MENA

Head of the East Port said harbor Medhat Atiya said the authority is negotiating with 10 navigational lines via Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT), which runs goods at East Port Said port.

In a statement on Thursday, Atiya said the inauguration of the New Suez Canal project will attract more navigational lines to work in East Port Said port.

He expected the circulation of goods at East Port port to rise by 30 percent in 2016 in case of the success of SCCT in attracting more lines.

The East Port port managed to deal with 3.2 million containers in 2015, said Atiya.
