U2 album Apple
Los Angeles - UPI

Sharon Osbourne is not happy with the free U2 album Apple gifted her during the unveiling of the new iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch on Sept. 6.
The 61-year-old television personality took to Twitter on Monday to protest Apple, U2 and producer Jimmy Iovine calling them "a bunch of megalomaniacs."
"U2 you are business moguls not musicians anymore. No wonder you have to give your mediocre music away for free cause no one wants to buy it," Osbourne wrote.
The Talk co-host continued her rant by saying that "nothing is free" and adding that they "are just a bunch of middle age political groupies...."
"This is an invasion of my private space. My entertainment space..." Osbourne continued, before concluding with "..Shame on you, what about up-and-coming artists who need to sell their music?"
Apple gifted U2's new album, Songs of Innocence, to all 500 million of its iTunes subscribers. The deed allegedly cost the company $100 million, but not everyone was happy to find the record in their iTunes library. The company has since released instructions on how to remove the free album from unhappy users' account. Osbourne also tweeted about that fact.
Here's how to say NO to @U2's new record that was forced upon you by @iTunes - #NoThankU2 - http://t.co/eMq8YcsI7U— Sharon Osbourne (@MrsSOsbourne) September 16, 2014
