Amber Heard to star in 'Magic Mike XXL'

Amber Heard has joined the cast of Magic Mike XXL.
The 28-year-old actress will star in a leading role alongside Channing Tatum as Mike, Alex Pettyfer as Adam, Matt Bomer as Ken and Joe Manganiello as Richie. Matthew McConaughey will not reprise Dallas, but Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith have signed on to the film.
The original Magic Mike premiered in 2012, and raked in over $167 million at the box office. The movie follows Mike, a male stripper, as he takes Adam under his wing and plans to open a custom furniture business.
Magic Mike XXL will see the character go on a road trip with his friends. Gregory Jacobs will take over as director from Steven Soderbergh, and will produce with Tatum and Reid Carolin.
Heard is also scheduled for London Fields, When I Live My Life Over Again and The Adderall Diaries. She and actor Johnny Depp, 51, have been together since 2012, and got engaged in December 2013.
