Arab permanent to hold meeting

The Arab League (AL) will hold Wednesday a consultative meeting at the level of Arab permanent representatives to discuss the Syrian crisis in the presence of Deputy UN Special Envoy for Syria Ambassador Ramzy Ezzeldin.

During the meeting, the UN envoy is expected to brief the permanent representatives on the latest developments of the Syrian conflict, notably the recently-declared ceasefire agreement, an Arab diplomatic source told MENA.

Also, Ezzeldin will post the Arab envoys on the international efforts exerted to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis, the diplomatic source said.
