Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas, who is taking part in the 17th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) due to kick off in Caracas later on Saturday.
Abbas briefed his Venezuelan counterpart on the latest developments of the Palestinian issue and the situation in Palestine in the light of the continued Israeli escalation, settlement policy and attacks against unarmed civilians and holy sites.
