UAE Chief of Staff receives foreign defence officials

Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, today held separate meetings with General James Aloizi Mwakibolwa, Chief of Staff of the Tanzanian Peoples Defence Force, and Lt. General Sergei Gurulev, Chairman of the State Defence Industries Committee of Belarus.
Ways of enhancing and promoting military and defence relations between the UAE and the two countries to serve common interests were discussed at the meetings, held at Al Rumaithi's office at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2017, being held in Abu Dhabi.
Other topics discussed included the importance of specialised defence exhibitions, such as IDEX, as highly important global forums and sources of military knowledge.
