UAE Ambassador and Australian Minister discuss trade relations

Dr. Obaid Al Heri Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, has met with the Hon. Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, and discussed ways to develop trade relations between the two countries.

The Minister said during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the annual ceremony of the Australian Export Awards, AEA, in Brisbane at the Royal International Convention Centre, that the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with the GCC is a priority for Australia.

Dr. Al Ketbi referred to the issue of food security and the challenges facing investors in the trade field, especially in Australia.
