Transport Minister, Japan Ambassador in Cairo discuss bilateral cooperation

Transport Minister Galal el Saaed met on Sunday with Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Takehiro Kagawa to discuss projects funded by the Japanese government in the transportation field and ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in various sectors, notably the metro.
During the meeting, attended by leaders of the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT), the two sides probed the working plan to start implementing the first phase of the fourth metro line.
Also, the two officials took up the Japanese soft loan to complete funding the establishment of the fourth subway line.
