Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud received on Sunday US Secretary of State John Kerry and his accompanying delegation.
Talks covered cooperation spheres, the latest developments in the region and efforts exerted to contain regional tensions.
Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Premier Prince Mohammad bin Nayef bin Abdel Aziz, Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir attended the meeting.
US Ambassador to Arabia Joseph W. Westphal and a number of American officials attended the meeting.
