Saudi FM meets US counterpart

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal described his talks with US counterpart John Kerry as "fruitful and constructive", for its depth and transparency as discussed in a broad range of topics relating to bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to regional and international issues of common interest Ina press conference after the meeting, Prince Saud Al-Faisal reaffirmed the importance of the political process's resumption in Yemen in accordance to the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism as a reference and the output of the national dialogue ,while stressing the importance of helping the fraternal Yemeni people to come out of their plight due to these serious events so as to maintain Yemen's security , stability and unity.
Saudi Foreign Minister stated that Saudi Arabia appreciates the efforts of the Group 5 + 1 as part of its keenness on resolving the file by peaceful means in order to reach a successful agreement dispels all doubts surrounding it and securing not to turn into a military program that threatens the region and the world.
He said we discussed peace process in the Middle East within the framework of the efforts being made by the United States recently to revive peace negotiations to achieve a just and lasting solution of the conflict, which had gotten support of the Arabs and the Palestinians and with the blessing of the Arabic League.
He pointed out that Saudi Arabia's vision towards the desired solution is based on the principles of international legality and resolutions and the Arab peace initiative aimed at the establishment of an independent Palestinian State .
