Palestinian President meets Norway's Foreign Minister

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here today with Norway's Foreign Minister Borg Brand. Abbas briefed the Norwegian minister on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.

    He stressed the importance of international community's support for the French initiative to hold an international conference that leads to international mechanism to resolve the Palestinian issue.

    The Norwegian foreign minister stressed his country's support for the political rally based on the principle of two-state solution, and continued coordination with the donor countries to provide assistance to the Palestinian people to build institutions
