
Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah Thursday briefed UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process James Rowley on the progress of Gaza reconstruction process and the developments of the national reconciliation.
This came during a meeting held between Hamdallah and Rowley in Ramallah.
During the meeting, the Palestinian premier asserted the government is keen on reconstructing the coastal enclave.
Also, he briefed the UN official on efforts exerted to reunite institutions between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and serious steps to solve the issue of the enclave's employees who were appointed after the 2007 year.
Ramallah also posted Rowley on efforts to handle effects of division among the Palestinian factions.
