OIC Secretary General Meets Sudanese Foreign Minister

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met on the margins of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly with Sudanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Professor Ibrahim Gandour.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing preparations for the annual coordination meeting of the Foreign Ministers in New York and the agenda of the Council of Foreign Ministers session in Tashkent next October, according to OIC.

Both sides reviewed ways to follow up the implementation of the resolutions on solidarity with Sudan, including the resolution adopted by the sessions of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in Kuwait in 2015 and the Islamic Summit held in Istanbul in April 2016.
