Norwegian foreign minister discusses refugees crisis with Lebanese counterpart

Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Borge Brende met Tuesday with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migrants Gebran Bassil.
They discussed the latest developments of the Syrian refugee crisis and Norway's contribution to easing it. Bassil called on Norway to provide assistance to Lebanese state institutions and Lebanese communities that host Syrian refugees. Bassil also stressed Lebanon's rejection to any international policy that calls for integration of refugees, opting for encouraging them to return to their homes instead.
