Minister of Oil meets Norwegian delegation

Minister of Oil and Gas, Dr Mohamed Zayed Awad received in his office at the Ministry the visiting Norwegian delegation within framework of the Cooperation Protocol between Sudan and Norway known as "Oil for Development."
The Minister listened to a briefing from the Norwegian side about outcome of the natural gas workshop set to lay base for exploration, development and extraction of natural gas as well as how to make use of gas accompanying oil production.
Ministries of Finance and Economic Planning, Water resources, Irrigation and Electricity and Agriculture as well as Central Bank of Sudan, The High Council for Environment and specialized research centers took part in the workshop.
SUNA Noted the Cooperation Protocol between Sudan and Norway includes holding training workshops, besides cooperation in field of oil and gas technology.
