Kerry, Lavrov Meet De Mistura for Syria Talks

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met on Friday with Staffan de Mistura, the U.N. special envoy for Syria, to discuss the latest international efforts to end the five-year crisis in Syria. 
The three parties stressed the necessity to push the political path forward, resume talks as soon as possible, and ensure the implementation of ceasefire in Aleppo in order to deliver aid to those stranded in the city and to enable those who want to leave to leave the city provided that safe corridors are available to protect them from danger.
