Jordanian King Meets US House of Representatives Delegation

Jordan's King Abdullah II, met here Wednesday with a delegation from the US House of Representatives, led by Congressman Mike Rogers. 
Talks during the meeting dealt with the most prominent regional and international developments and means to deal with them in order to preserve security and stability as well as the importance of the US's pivotal role in various issues. 
     The meeting also stressed the need for intensifying efforts regionally and internationally to address the threat of terrorism and extremism, reach a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis and support the revival of efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis.
