Irrigation minister, Arab Water Council chief discuss boosting cooperation

Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati on Sunday received head of the Arab Water Council Mahmoud Abu Zaid.
The meeting dealt with ways of activating cooperation between the ministry and the Arab Water Council in various areas of water resources.
The minister also received former minister of utilities Abdel Qawi Khalifa on ways of rationalizing the use of water resources and protecting them from pollution.
The two sides also discussed using modern and cheap technologies for purifying water of agricultural drains.
