GCC Secretary-General Meets French Official

GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met here Monday with special envoy of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Pierre Vimont.
Talks during the meeting dealt with efforts being made by the French government to hold an international peace conference to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and realize peace in the region.
Al Zayani expressed the GCC states' appreciation to the constructive role played by the French government toward the issues of the Middle East and in particular the Palestinian cause.
