GCC chief, UN Yemen envoy meet in Riyadh

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdullatif bin Rashid al Zayani met with United Nations envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed here on Thursday.
The meeting took up the latest developments in Yemen, including the three-day ceasefire that took effect shortly before Wednesday midnight, a GCC statement said.
They also discussed the efforts by the UN envoy to resume Yemeni peace talks and the outcome of the comprehensive national dialogue, it said.
