Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam, on the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, held talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday.
In a statement, Dar al Ifta' said that Allam briefed Kerry on efforts of the Egyptian Iftaa in fighting terrorism and enhancing co-existence.
Allam left Cairo for Geneva on Tuesday, leading an Egyptian delegation to the World Economic Forum 2016.
The World Economic Forum has issued a book by Allam on his initiative to counter extremist ideologies and the necessity of adopting new confrontation policies.
