Egyptian tourism authority chief in Moscow for tourism cooperation talks

Head of the Egyptian Tourism Authority Hisham el Demery held on Monday a meeting with the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) executive director Maya Lomidze over tourism cooperation.
Demery, in statements on the sidelines of Egypt's participation in the international travel Fair (Intour Market), said all of Egypt's tourist destinations are ready to receive Russian tourists.
Egypt's participation in the fair comes as part of efforts to resume flights with Russia that were suspended following the crash of a Russian Metrojet plane at the end of October 2015, killing 224 people.
Lomidze said Egypt is an important tourist destination favored by Russians.
ATOR includes 28 Russian tour operators.
