Egyptian, Saudi FMs discuss situation in Yemen, forming joint Arab force

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Tuesday held a session of talks in Riyadh with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al Faysal.

The talks took up the recent developments regarding the Saudi-led Decisive Storm Operation in Yemen against the Houthi group, according to a released statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

The two sides also discussed recent regional developments including the situation in Syria and the importance of a meeting, slated for Wednesday in the Cairo-based Arab League, by Arab armed forces chiefs of staff to discuss the establishment of a joint Arab force, added the statement.
