Cairo - Arab Today

Egyptian Ambassador in Japan Ismail Khayrat met Saturday with the Tokyo governor.

During the meeting, they tackled the outstanding experience of the Tokyo government in managing one of the largest cities in the world.

In a statement earlier in the day, Egypt's foreign ministry said that Khayrat invited the Japanese official to visit Cairo as soon as possible.

The meeting was held as a part of efforts to strengthen the Egyptian-Japanese relations.

The Egyptian envoy asserted that Cairo wants to make use of the Japanese expertise in establishing the planned administrative capital.
