Egypt's Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy met on Wednesday with visiting Kenyan Chief of Staff Samson Mwathethe and his accompanying delegation.

During the gathering, they discussed the latest developments in Africa and a number of topics of common concern, especially with regard to boosting bilateral cooperation in various areas and distinguished military ties between the two countries' armed forces. 

Also, Hegazy asserted the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation among African states to face all risks and challenges that threaten the security and stability of the African continent.
