Cabinet holds weekly meeting

The Cabinet held its weekly meeting on Wednesday to discuss a number of political, economic, social and security files.

The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, will also probe several reports related to citizen services and the provision of basic commodities.

The premier will also tackle the outcome of his two visits of Saudi Arabia and South Africa and will follow up progress achieved to carry out mega national projects, mainly the one-and-a-half-million feddan reclamation and the Suez Canal corridor development projects.

Ismail will discuss detailed projects and programs of the ministries to draft the government platform that will be submitted to the newly-elected House of Representatives.
