Bahraini Foreign Minister receives Arab League chief

Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed al Khalifa received on Monday visiting Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit. 

The two sides exchange viewpoints and coordination on regional issues and ways of boosting them, according to BNA News Agency. 

Sheikh Khaled voiced confidence in the ability of Abul Gheit in strengthening Arab solidarity and improving Arab joint action. 

He also pointed out to the important role played by the pan-Arab body in strengthening ties among the Arab countries. 

Abul Gheit, for his part, hailed the crucial role played by Bahrain in entrenching security and stability in the region. 

He also extended thanks to Bahrain for boosting the Arab League and its support to promote Arab joint action.
