Assistant FM, EU official confer on Arab developments

Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Tareq el Qouni met Sunday with Jean-Christophe Belliard, the Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs at the EU External Action Service.
The meeting took up the latest regional and Arab developments, with focus on the situation in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, Qouni said.
Qouni added that he and Belliard agreed to intensify consultations as part of the partnership between Egypt and the EU.
