Arab League chief, Cypriot FM probe issues of common interest

Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Abul Ghiet met Monday with Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides as they exchanged points of view on issues of common interest.

During the meeting, Kasoulides reviewed the latest political developments in the Cyprus, Syria, Libya and Yemen as well as his country's supporting stance to the Palestinian issue, said the spokesman of the AL secretary general Mahmoud Afify.

The two sides also stressed the importance of enhancing dialogue between the two sides within the framework of the friendly relations binding Arab countries with Cyprus, added the spokesman.
