
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Meng Jianzhu on Monday at Al Shati Palace. Jianzhu is Special Envoy of the Chinese President, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China or CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee of the CPC Central Committee.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Chinese official reviewed various aspects of co-operation, stressing their keenness to strengthen communication between Emirati and Chinese officials and also to exchange their experiences and experiments. Ways of enhancing co-operation in areas of training and human resources development were also discussed.
The two sides termed the strategic relations and co-operation as ''firm and outstanding'' under the leadership of both the countries, and expressed satisfaction at the progress of bilateral trade ties, which reached a high level.
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the State Security Department; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State; Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, and members of the Chinese delegation also attended the meeting.
