
Minister of Culture, Dr. Abdullah Aubal Manthoq headed on Thursday to Egypt on an official visit lasting several days. In a statement to Saba, the Minister of Culture pointed out that the visit comes at the invitation of Egyptian Minister of Culture and will include holding the festival "Yemen and Egypt through history",and the attendance of the Egyptian song festival, as well as discussing ways of joint cooperation in regard to the training of Yemeni cadres in the fields of restoration and maintenance of historic towns. He pointed out that, during the visit, he will discuss how to activate the joint cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in order to benefit from the leading Egyptian experience in the maintenance of monuments and manuscripts.
