UNESCO supports Iraq against destruction of cultural heritage

Irina Bokova , Director General of UNESCO, visits the Iraqi National Museum in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Nov. 2, 2014. Bokova on Sunday voiced support for the Iraqi government against "barbaric" destruction of the Iraqi cultural heritage, as the Islamic State (IS) militant group destroyed several ancient sites in the country.
