UNESCO delegation visits pyramids

A delegation representing the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) visited the Giza pyramids and the sphinx.
In a statement, the media center of the pyramids said that the delegation was welcomed by antiquities inspector of the region Hazem Zaki.
Zaki said that the delegation hailed the archaeological site and the efforts exerted to develop it.
The visit comes as this region is a destination for the tourists from all over the world, Zaki noted.
