
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development and the National Media Council (NMC) today jointly organised a ceremony on the occasion of the U.A.E.'s 42nd National Day. The event, held in front of the Ministry and NMC's headquarters, was organised under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and Chairman of the National Media Council (NMC), and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. The event commenced with the national anthem and songs. In her statement on the occasion while addressing the audience, Moza Al Mazroui, NMC's public relations officer, extended greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates and Crown Princes. She also affirmed the loyalty, appreciation and pride of the citizens in their prudent leadership, history and their joy on the U.A.E.'s 42nd National Day.
